 Originally established as the San Antonio Youth Sports Corporation (SAYSC), Barnes Athletics Academy has proudly served as Bexar County’s “one-of-a-kind” youth athletics organizations for 25 years. We consider ourselves “one of a kind” because we are motivated and dedicated to providing every student-athlete enrolled in our Athletics Academy with a safe, responsible experience, supportive environment, equal opportunities, and access to all the resources they need to excel:

• On The Field/Court - In The Game Of Athletics.
• Off The Field/Court - In The Game Of Life.

Barnes Athletics Academy offers year-round organized youth athletic instruction, league play, and tournament competition for boys and girls in grades 1st through 12th. We are committed to serving all youth who are interested in participating, with no expectations regarding prior skill and/or experience. The only expectations are the desire to learn, participate, and excel. 

 At Barnes Athletics Academy, our mission is to build a firm foundation of prime core values, establish a chief cornerstone of character, and set a capstone of essential life skills for every student-athlete enrolled in our athletics academy.The ingredients of a firm foundation are a purposeful blend of educational, awareness, action, and athletic programs. Upon this firm foundation of prime core values, we are committed to build and provide meaningful opportunities for personal growth and mental and physical development—while reinforcing positive influences, self-confidence, and self-esteem. Together, these elements form the chief cornerstone of character in each student-athlete. With the capstone of life-skills crowning this model. Barnes Athletics Academy is motivated and dedicated to educate and inspire each student-athlete, while encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun through the spirit of athletics.
